I’d love for more people to try this out and see whether it helps with their day-to-day browsing.
So far, one person has tried it and given positive feedback. If you know someone who is visually impaired and might be interested in testing it, I’d really appreciate their feedback.

How often does MHL update? :)
Or do I need to do anything besides submitting to dev.to to get this milestone?

@heyitsjem entry for this challenge 👋

Built PhishGuard for a friend who was one tap away from a "college fee payment FAILED, 24 hours to cancel" WhatsApp scam. It's a local phishing checker: ~15 deterministic rules + gemma3:2b through Ollama as a second opinion, stdlib-only Python (one file, no pip install), works with the Wi-Fi off — that was the whole point for him.

Live demo: phishguard-oi4y.onrender.com
Entry post: dev.to/shriyanshgupta145/my-friend...

The part I'd love feedback on: rules and the local model disagree sometimes (rules gave a SIM-deactivation message 0/100, model called it PHISHING — and it was right). Kept the AI as a fallback layer, not a replacement. Happy Hacktoberfest 🎃
