TL;DR
DEV has so many interesting series, but they can be easy to miss when we don't follow the author or happen to come across a post at the right time.
Until we have a dedicated way to discover series, I thought we could use this thread to share the series we are writing or reading so more people can find them.
If you're writing a series: Share the title, a short introduction, its status (ongoing or completed), and the link.
If you're reading a series: Share the title, what you find interesting about it, and the link.
If you're planning a series but haven't started yet, bookmark this thread and come back when you publish the first part.
You can share as many series as you want. There are no limits here 😄

A Small Problem I Keep Noticing
There are many great series on DEV. Some are educational, some document a learning journey, some explore a specific technology, and others are simply fun to follow.
But finding these series consistently can be difficult. Unless we follow the author, discover one of their posts, or happen to see it in our feed, we might never know that the series exists.
And by the time we discover it, several parts may already be published. I know I have probably missed some really interesting series simply because I didn't know they were there.
So, Let’s Share Them Here
If you're writing a series, feel free to share it in the comments. You can include the series title, a short introduction about what it covers, whether it is ongoing or completed, and a link to the series or its first article.
If you're reading a series that you think others might enjoy, share that too. Tell us what makes it interesting or what you've learned from it.
If you're planning to start a series, you can bookmark this thread and come back once you've published the first part. That way, people can discover it early and follow along as you continue writing.
You can share as many series as you want. There are no limits here 😄
Until DEV Has a Dedicated Series Section
I remember @dj29 raising an issue in the Forem repo about a possible series discovery feature, so fingers crossed that we get something like that in the future 🤞
I know DEV already has so many great features, and I also understand that building something new takes time and effort. This is not meant as a complaint at all. I'm always grateful to the DEV team for creating and maintaining a space where we can learn, write, and connect with each other.
Until then, maybe we can use this thread as our own little discovery space. There are probably many series worth reading that we simply haven't found yet.
What series are you writing or reading right now? Share them below so we can discover something new together.

The most active series I have is the monthly dev report. I am really proud of the progress I have made when looking back in Jan of this year.

Speaking of, will publish a monthly dev report next week with important updates. Stay tuned for that since it's going to be a Monthly Special :)
Publishing progress on a schedule is an uncomfortable commitment, because the quiet months get published too. @francistrdev Francis, really, you have kept it honest all year, and reading someone's January next to their September is a better argument for consistency.
Hey Francis 👋 I always enjoy your monthly dev reports, especially the monthly discovery section 😄
Excited to see what you have planned for the Monthly Special 😀
OK, I'm late but let me share mine:
The DEV Guide I Wish Existed Series:
Where I write about my experiences, anything helpful for students like me or people using DEV.
IND-TECH WEEKLY 🇮🇳 Series:
Where I research come up with news around hiring, funding, AI, headlines and For DEV opportunities I've partnered with @hemapriya_kanagala di, so I suggest her the opportunities and she cross verifies and researches and her DEV Opportunity Radar is already successful, so I just add a liquid tag to its latest issue.
The DEV Challenge Lab:
Where I add my DEV challenge submissions.
Thanks, have a great day!
📚 My DEV Series Collections
🔹 AI, Ego & the 36 Stratagems
🔹 AI, Ego & Regret
I have followed your series @xulingfeng one comment by comment, and I am a fan. Ancient Chinese military strategy mapped onto modern AI QA and procurement should not work as well as it does. The fiction is the delivery mechanism, but there is fifteen years of real QA experience underneath it, and you can tell.
Not to mention! I got your AI, Ego & Regret paperback. My Sensei
I started following AI, Ego & the 36 Stratagems from the beginning and have loved it so far. Now waiting for the last six stratagems. Curious to see what’s coming next 😄
A few series shared here are ones I’m following as well:
Thanks for mentioning it, actually since I wasn't well, I've missed last 2 issues. But will be publishing it again from this week.
Also, I have another series too:
The DEV Guide I Wish Existed - its Ongoing but I only publish a post under it when I feel it'll genuinely help a lot of other students like me or people using DEV.
Have A great night!😅
I hope you’re feeling better now, bhai.
Also, if you have time, could you add a separate comment here with a little intro to both IND-TECH WEEKLY and The DEV Guide I Wish Existed? Like what they’re about and what people can expect. No pressure at all! I think it would be really nice for people discovering them through this post.
Sure, I'll do it! Also, since you called me bhai, can I call you di? as in didi? And as soon as I get time I'll also add some new opportunities for radar.
Have A great night!😄
Of course, you can call me di 😄 And yes, only if you have the time, bhai. I know college can get busy, so no pressure at all. Even just knowing you’re willing to share opportunities when you come across them means a lot.
Have a great night as well 😀
Thanks! I just love it how easily you can talk to a lot of great people on this platform.😀
I'll comment about both the series soon,
Again, Have a great night, di😄
Thank you for listing mine, Hema. I had not actually shared it in the
thread myself, so that was generous of you. Let me do it properly.
Here goes mine 😄 Dev Opportunity Radar is an ongoing weekly series where I share opportunities, resources, communities, and interesting finds that I come across, with the goal of helping people discover things they might otherwise miss.
📌 Series Link: Dev Opportunity Radar
The first two editions were published separately and are included below for reference:
Dev Opportunity Radar 😄 is the one I open on Fridays. The useful part is that you have already done the filtering and made it easy for everyone to grab really awesome opportunities.
Thank you so much, Nnamdi! That really means a lot to me 😀
This is a great idea for a thread.
I'm writing a series, it should be about 10 parts, one a week:
Building a MIL-STD-188-110 HF Modem in Modern C++
The build log of a real, standards-compliant HF radio modem in modern C++ that has to cross-compile down to a microcontroller, not just run on a workstation. Less a code dump than a look at the discipline behind mission-critical DSP: why the signal path allocates nothing, how strong types keep a hertz from ever being read as a kilohertz, and why the transmitter is the one block where you trust the standard over your own instincts. I'm writing it mostly to pass along what thirty years of embedded work taught me.
Status: ongoing. The overview and "the rules I build by" are up, with the transmit chain next.

Oh, I hadn’t come across your series before! This sounds really interesting. I’ll definitely be checking it out. Thanks for sharing it here 😀
We will see, I hope someone finds it interesting. With any luck, I will post about 10 - 15 in the series and go over some fairly advanced DSP concepts.
I see you are from Andhra Pradesh, I spent two weeks in Visakhapatnam many years ago, what a wonderful place.
Series name: golang-in-hinglish
Intro: A simple tutorial series on go in Hinglish (Hindi).
Total posts published: 2
Status: post 3 is under draft!

Yes, I loved this one! You make learning Go feel fun and easy to understand. Now waiting for Part 3 😀
For anyone interested, here’s the direct series link: Golang in Hinglish
😅😄 Totally forgot there was a direct link to the series!
Thank you so much! 😊
Here goes mine 😄 100 Days of DevOps and Cloud is an ongoing series
where I work through two hands-on tasks a day, one version control and
one cloud, and write up the reasoning and the failure modes rather than
just the commands. Most of it is the small things that cost me an
afternoon. A subnet that is private by a flag rather than by its
location. A Lambda that returns 200 twice and means something
different each time.

Yes, definitely a great series! As I mentioned earlier, I’ve been following this one too. I’m excited to see the Azure part in the second half!
Hema, reading xulingfeng 36 Stratagems series right now. AI system failures told through fiction, backed by 15 years of real QA experience. 30 parts done, 6 left.
Worth a read if you have not found it yet.
Oh yeah, I started reading this one from the beginning! Great recommendation, Daniel. I’m really enjoying it 😀
👏🤣🙌
I really like this idea. I've definitely come across a good DEV series through one random post, only to realize later that several parts had already been published.
Series are useful because the value isn't always in one article. Sometimes the interesting part is watching an idea, project, or learning journey develop over several posts. But if you don't find the first few parts, it's surprisingly easy to miss the whole thing.
The comments here are already showing why a dedicated discovery space could be useful. There are tutorials, ongoing projects, experiments, and even story-driven technical series that I probably wouldn't have found through the normal feed.
Until DEV has a better way to surface them, having one place where people can share what they're actually reading seems like a pretty practical workaround. I'm definitely going to browse through the comments before leaving this thread. 😄
Yes, exactly! Hopefully, you’ll find a lot of good ones through the comments here. I’m hoping to discover some new series too 😀
Exactly! 😄 I think that’s the best part of threads like this. You discover one series, then another, and suddenly your reading list gets much longer than expected.
I’ve already found a couple here that I probably wouldn’t have noticed through the normal feed.
