Julius puts its team features behind a $450-a-month Business plan: the semantic layer that learns your database, and teammates who share one workspace. If you were shopping for a Julius AI team plan, Intellrise Team gives five people both for $100 a month. That is $350 a month, $4,200 a year, back in your budget.
Julius AI Business plan vs Intellrise Team, priced for a real team
Here is what each plan costs a five-person data team.

Julius's own maths: $45 a seat, if ten of you use it
Julius's own blog does the per-seat maths for you: "$450/month, meaning each teammate is $45/month per seat." That is only true when ten people share it. For a five-person data team, the same plan is $90 a seat. On Intellrise Team it is $20.
One Julius Business user on Trustpilot put it plainly: "I could not justify another $450 renewal."
Explain your data once. Everyone gets the right answer.
Every team has columns that mislead: gmv includes tax, and status 7 means refunded. A general-purpose chatbot forgets that the moment the chat closes, and every new teammate learns it the hard way.
Intellrise reads your tables when you connect them and writes down what each column means. When whoever connected the database fixes a definition, it is saved with that database, and every teammate's next question uses it, with nobody explaining it again.
One person connects the database. Five people use it.
Connect Postgres, MySQL, Redshift, Google Sheets, CSV or Excel once. Anyone on the team asks a question and gets the SQL, the chart and the answer in the same place.
Pin the chart to your dashboard and every teammate can open it. Save a report and it can land in your manager's inbox every morning or every Monday. Export to CSV, Excel, PDF, PowerPoint or Word when someone needs a deck in an hour. Nobody rebuilds the same chart in their own account.
No credits to run out, and none to expire
On Julius, "unused credits expire at the end of your billing cycle and don't carry over", and "topping up your balance is not supported". A heavy month-end close means rationing questions or moving up a plan.
Intellrise has no credit balance. The team owner adds one AI key and every member works on it from day one. Usage is billed by your AI provider at its own list price, so there is nothing to ration and nothing to lose at the end of the month.
