I was building a social media platform named Crowdwide!
It has this special thing about it... it helps the newer voices get discovered. Its algorithm is designed like that!!
So... for the newer voices and higher engagement, I just integrated Widewave, and I was not expecting it to get indexed on Google within 24 hours! 😭
More than 5 posts are getting indexed, and others will be there soon... lol.
That increases the reach of the platform and the posts of new voices.
So, I think all the algorithms, user engagement emails, notifications, and main features are almost done.
I think I just need a little UI improvement now! And then 2–3 days of testing!
And in UI improvements, I need to fix the sidebars, and a few buttons are very close to each other. I need to fix those, and... all set!
Finally, I feel like I'm at the moment where it's just done!
But idk how this just goes on. I need to add this... just this much, this much more... hmm... more and more...
But I think this is enough. I just need UI improvements now, and that's it for now!
Further, I got 12 users now, and 60 posts on Crowdwide are completed. Ik most of them are devlogs, but still, I count this as part of building, too. I also posted my old artwork there—a paper flower built by me:
https://www.crowdwide.run.place/posts/6ad739d24eabf9bab7720410
I will post things on it... some interesting things, and maybe on different topics...
I don't want its feed to get dead!
And the number of communities is still the same!
There's no major growth in the number of users. I found mostly old users there.
So, I will try to make a few more posts on different topics and try to continue until it gets its first 100 users.
Ik it may take a lot of time, but I will try this.
Not afraid of failing or just ending up with another ONLY showcase for my profile!

Getting indexed by Google within 24 hours is a big win. Congrats! The "just one more feature" loop is real. I had the same feeling before launching my own project. What helped me was writing a short "done means..." list and shipping when it was ticked. 12 users and 60 posts is a solid start. Seeding different topics to keep the feed alive is the right move, too.
fr 😂 the “just one more feature” loop is never-ending Gotta learn to stop tweaking and actually let people use it lol. Btw, what was your project about?
Haha, so true! It's ResumeOrbitz, an AI resume builder I'm building solo for job seekers in India. Just got it indexed, so now the real grind of getting found begins 😅 Looking forward to seeing the polished Crowdwide UI!
that sounds awesome bro!! 🔥🔥 Building solo is a whole different grind 🤝 Hope ResumeOrbitz gets the attention it deserves! All the best with getting it out there, bro ❤️
"I need to add this... just this much, this much more... hmm... more and more..." is the most relatable sentence in this entire post.
Every founder I know has this exact moment: the app is "done", but there's always one more feature, one more fix, one more polish. The trick isn't to stop adding things — it's to ship before the list becomes infinite.
12 users and 60 posts is a real start. Good luck with the first 100.
so true 😭 There’s always something else you wanna add, but at some point you just gotta ship and see how people use it. Thanks for the wishes! 🙌
