📺 DEV·TV now has three skins: Graphite, Walnut, and Cream

DEV·TV used to have one cabinet.

Now it has three. 🎨

When I first built DEV·TV, I wanted it to feel less like another developer dashboard and more like an actual television — something you could leave running on a monitor or TV and let it cycle through what's happening across the developer internet.

The original look was the dark Graphite cabinet.

Now you can choose between Graphite, Walnut, and Cream.

🖥️ Graphite

This is the original DEV·TV look.

Dark, retro, and probably the closest to what I had in mind when I started building it.

It's still the default skin.

🌳 Walnut

Then there's Walnut.

This one leans into the old television idea a little more. The wooden cabinet makes DEV·TV feel less like a website and more like something that could have been sitting in a living room decades ago.

🤍 Cream

And finally, Cream.

It's the lightest of the three and gives DEV·TV a completely different feel while keeping the same TV interface.

🎛️ Why skins?

There's a reason I didn't just add a light/dark toggle.

DEV·TV isn't really designed to be opened for thirty seconds and closed.

The idea is to leave it running.

📺 On an office TV.

🖥️ On a second monitor.

💻 On a spare screen.

If you're going to stare at something for hours, I figured you should at least get to choose what it looks like.

The skin you choose is remembered locally, so you don't need an account or a server to keep your preference.

🧑‍💻 Still one HTML file

And this update didn't change one of the things I care about most with DEV·TV.

It's still a single HTML file.

No build step.

No login.

No backend.

You can open it and run it.

The skins are just another layer on top of the same little TV.

🚀 What's next?

DEV·TV has changed quite a bit since the Product Hunt launch.

There are now 11 channels, including the new New Models channel for models newly added to OpenRouter.

There's also the Community Spotlight, where developers can submit projects to get their own airtime on DEV·TV.

And now there are three cabinets to choose from. 📺

Graphite.

Walnut.

Cream.
